With a team of professional orchid cultivators and horticulturists, our staff meticulously grow and manage each individual orchid with 30+ years of experience in the industry. OUR STORY
Started as a small family business in Taiwan 32 years ago, the company is now one of the biggest supplier of phalaenopsis in the country. The company has since expanded globally in more than 30 countries namely the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, China, France, Japan, and many more in the last three decades. As a global supplier of phalaenopsis, we also cultivate and grow locally in various major states in the USA. With over 10 acres of land across the globe, we supply over 20,000+ vendors across the world.
In 2023, the first ever Gulf expansion of the company was established. Purple Orchid reaches the new milestone to grow phalaenopsis locally in the United Arab Emirates to enhance more diversified sales services in the middle east. Our Team
Purple Orchid is rooted from a two generation family business. The founder, Mr. Chang, founded the business in 1991. Under his professional cultivation of culturing phalaenopsis from a daughter flask, the company has become of the the largest premium quality orchid suppliers internationally. Growing up and earning an accredited degree in the United States while learning alongside the founder, the sons and daughter of Mr. Chang had taken the business to a global level in North American. Until 2022, the two sons have decided to embark on this new venture and become the first grower of phalaenopsis in the UAE. With pride and integrity, we are continuously growing with a passionate workforce and skilled cultivation engineers that will bring greater success to the Gulf region.
Our Farm & Greenhouses
Over 7 acres of land, our farm is located in between Sharjah and Ajman with our head office in
Dubai. With the harsh Gulf climate, our expert engineers have spent hours and days examining and testing the horticulture environment at our farm. We have now successfully established and implemented innovative technology to grow phalaenopsis in our greenhouses. Purple Orchid is the first and only local grower of phalaenopsis in the UAE and we take pride on offering fresh and quality orchids to you and your buyers.
